Canskate: CanSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for beginners of all ages. The program focuses on fun, participation, and basic skills development. You will earn badges and other incentives as you learn fundamental skating skills. Lessons are given in a group format, lead by an NCCP certified professional coach, assisted by trained Program Assistants. Skaters progress at their own rate and coaches make sessions active using teaching aids, music, and a wide variety of activities that create a fun environment and promote learning. |

Tuesday and/or Thursday 6:05 pm to 6:50 pm.

Junior StarSkate – Must have completed and passed Stage 7 badge. Four group lessons in stroking, skills, freestyle, dance, & creative movement are provided. Private lessons are recommended. |

Intermediate StarSkate –Skaters must have passed the complete Preliminary Freestyle or Senior Bronze Dances and Senior Bronze Skills. Group stroking and creative movement lessons per week are included. Private Instruction. |

Senior Skaters must have passed Junior Bronze Freestyle or Junior Silver Dances and Junior Silver Skills. Group stroking and creative movement lessons per week are included Private Instruction. |

Power Skating |
|
StarSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of Ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. |
|
Power Skating – One 50 minute session per week. Group instruction throughout session. Skaters must be dressed in full hockey equipment. This will include puck handling skills. You must be 6 years of age at time of Registration. Enrollment is limited. |

AdultSkate: Adult skating is growing in popularity and more and more clubs are offering recreation, test and competitive opportunities to this segment of the population. The adult program is geared to adults participating at various levels of CanSkate, StarSkate and PowerSkate programs. This is a great conditioning program for adults |

The Competitive is a Test Program for skaters in singles, pairs and dance wishing to compete in qualifying events within Skate Canada. Skaters take tests specific to the discipline (singles, Pairs and Dance) in which they wish to compete. A skater or team may begin testing at the level at which they wish to compete. (there are no test pre-requisites) |
